Industrial Lime Powder – Ca(OH)2- 98%

Calcium hydroxide under normal conditions, in the form of a soft, white powder. Ca(OH)2 melts at about 580oC, odorless and very difficult to ignite.

- Well soluble in many organic and inorganic solutions such as glycerol and acids, but insoluble in alcohol.

Calcium hydroxide is particularly suitable for wastewater treatment because it allows and aids in the removal of small particles and does not precipitate in the water. With this approach, the cost is saved and the least harmful to humans.

- Due to the nature of a base, Ca(OH)2 is also used to increase the alkalinity of water and neutralize the acidity of leather in the tanning industry. In addition, to improve soil with pH<7 or acidic nature, Ca(OH)2 can be used to improve soil quality.
